Actually Kevin it's called Amazing Goop! Sorry for that! Had that niggling itch at the back of my neck so had to check!

Just a little tinkering but important for me.

I also use my smartphone as a sat nav.

In addition to the smartphone holder I made, I now needed a charging socket with more power (PD/ QC3.0).

Because I don't like to destroy or change original parts I made a new radio slot plate..
I still had suitable vinyl to cover a new radio slot plate from some other conversions (door pockets etc.).

Many USB sockets consume power even when not in use.
To avoid this, I just had to get a USB socket suitable for my purpose and an adapter plug to fit the original Morgan loom.

By then it had failed again and his answer was that nothing short of a new seal would work long term. I had him fit one there and then. It's been fine ever since and more watertight as he took care to cut only the minimum of rubber to clear the sunshade mounts on screen surround. I did ask if silicone grease would ease fitment of header rail but he didn't recommend it!

Thanks Richard. At least I know there's a solution eventually if this remedial work fails.

Not polished, just waxed today. I have a pretty good wax, polished a year ago, first time in ten years. It's nice how you can cut an object out of a photo at the touch of a button these days.
