The article is (I think) still available on GoMog, or if needed a copy can be provided. I've certainly passed it on to a few

[quote=MikeJP]Out of interest, I noted the comment about the gearbox being wider. I subsequently accommodated this extra width (side bulge) by expanding the original cut-out in the tunnel and covering with a suitably sized circular baking tray from the local shop. The flange allowed me to use several self tapping screws to hold it in place and the now larger aperture makes it easier to top up the oil.
The issue I have is that my car is left hand drive. The bulge is next to the accelerator pedal. I 've had to keep any expanding to a minimum. Aluminium tape has done the job for me.

OK; I do understand your predicament; but sadly have no solution for you. My article came from installation in my Right hand drive car. Even suggesting a mod to the gearbox bracket that allows the gearbox to be angled slightly away from the drivers footwell would likely introduce problems with the exhaust manifold alignment and possible confliction with the hand brake I suspect. I wonder how MMC accommodated the T9 in left hand drive CVH cars?

It's wider so the cover has to be dealt with. But it's not enough to cause foot issues. I was just noting the situation..
