Great stuff, reminds me why I finally got the Morgan and what I like about it. The smell of pigs in Suffolk , the smells of Dairy Farms in the Waikato , and sheep farms in Northland , plus Jasmine in the summer evenings and dusty roads on the way to the beach.

That was such a great video Spencer. Saw it on LinkedIn some while ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. Such a great advert for the brand too - hope they give you a free sausage roll or summat at the factory…

Spencer, that is such a sensible and quality inviting video well done.

I'm not sure how I missed this earlier on though...

Anyone who thought the Midsummer video was too elitist or not in the spirit of 'Morgan' should take a look at this video.
It's very well done and gives a totally different take on ownership to the Italian lakes/Knightsbridge/highly polished, dry weather only world that MMC seem to want to portray.

It does look grim oooop narth though.......😱

Yes exactly this ^^^

After you have watched Spencer's video you feel good and are thinking all the time as you watch it, yes that's exactly how I feel but he has the presence and skills to articulate this in a most effective manner.

I related to it well as Dartmoor is my back yard thumbs and although I never set out in the rain more often than not I'll encounter it somewhere along the way grin2

Julian and Richard, if one cares to apply a degree of relativity your ooop narth, is doon sooth fur me, and as to the likely price put on a new Morgan let alone a Midsummer, it all seems a tad expensive for that which seems to be on offer.... Not Morgan`s fault for sure, and no doubt in line with current market expectations, legislative and other evolutionary forces, but the hand crafted of my old +8 Trad has a tad more value to ME than hand assembled, in a very personal cost benefit analysis situation..

As ever, each to their own.. (-:

I grew up in the north and moved south for the better weather.... sadly the congestion and poor air quality come with it....🤷🏻‍♂️😁

I certainly agree that the new cars are expensive, the midsummer is very expensive, but I guess it's targeted at a totally different audience to Morgans of old.

I wonder if anyone has worked out if the current prices have increased in line with inflation. Comparing the price of an 80's/90's/2000's +8 or similar with that of a CX car..?
I guess that most folk who bought a new one 40 years ago were buying it as a second or third car for leisure rather than for everyday commuting so would have a reasonable chunk of disposable money.

It would be interesting to know if the current cars are value for money when compared to previous decades.
They might be a bargain..............
