Would not turn over is suspicious of switch. Is there a fuse in the starter motor circuit?

do not recall, but we checked all the fuses, What I did not try was jumping across the starter switch. He had a trailer so that is how he headed out. I teted and never got a repsonse to the issue.

I know the entire electrical system is not a great design, nothing like a Honda, but it sort of works. The starter switch is in such an inaccessible location to get to the rear of it it amazes me. I have removed the panel to access all the dashboard equipment to reverse the tach and speedo locations and trust me, pay attention to ALL the screws, spacers, washers etc because it fits only one way. The machine is not designed to be worked on although it can be done if you are persistent.

I have contacted the Comfort Inn in Maggies Valley and waiting for the manager to return my call. Looking at Arriving Sept 16 and departing the 20th. That will give us three days to do the Dragon, go to the top of the Great Smokey Mountains NP and see the Wheels Through Time MC museum.
