The cam cover came with a gasket set and I'm looking at some nicer fixings

So far it looks like it's another quality part from China at a great price and much like the aluminum throttle body Roger kindly pointed me to which I have to say was a no-brainer, the nasty original plastic TB was an absolute shocker!

I'll post some photos after fitting the cam cover which will pretty much conclude my war on plastic

1. Fusion Fabrications inlet manifold replaces the plastic Ford item

2. Plastic Mondeo airbox replaced with an AEM dryflow filter

3. Aluminum Throttle body replaces the nasty plastic Ford item

4. And now the plastic cam cover goes in the bin in favour of a body colour aluminum item

Plastic be gone

Another quality product from China

The original plastic T has been known to fail unexpectedtly. Not easy to fix on the roadside…

NICE job....Perhaps brass nuts on the exhaust manifold fixings would also tidy up the engine bay look, at least to my tired old eyes... (-:
