I would just wrap the cowl- as others have said. That way you can change your mind over time. My .02.

It is impossible to cover this part because it is close to the engine.
This part of the bodywork is therefore very hot 🥵

Not to detract from Signal Orange, which is a great colour but you may want to also look at Signal Yellow.

It is also a Porsche 70s safety colour and in spite of being called Signal Yellow, there is a hint of orange to it and it may look lovely with the Green of your S3.

If you Google Signal Yellow, plenty of examples will pop up but here is one...

I'm going to look at this yellow too in this case 🌈
but I actually think that a mix with seventies colors from Porsche is a great idea
my painter will do some tests on small plates before painting everything....
