I've always thought that the rear of the first series of Aeros was similar to the Mantula. I think I recall being told there was some designer link between the two, but I may have imagined that.

The difference in design between the pininfarina-Morgan and the 2CV-based Burton isn't that big. A number of details look even better on Burton.
Morgan has now finally arrived where companies like Panther with its Kallista (or Burton) have always been. Newly built retro fun cars instead of continuing tradition.
Jens ... to be fair, I can see acres of space between the two on a design quality basis ... barring the over-use of the wood trimming I like the Midsummer ... as a 'one-off' run of specials ... wouldn't want the design to become the norm ... but, for a small group of buyers who liked the design, then fine .... hate to imagine the price tag! 😮
The more I look over all the design details the more I like. They did a fantastic job on this one and it will be interesting to see what specs the lucky 50 owners come up with.
My only grip is that the interior could have been a tab more bespoke when compared to a normal Plus Six in regards to seat design, dash trim inserts etc and this is very much highlighted by the plugs they used to cover up where the headrest posts would have gone.
A 'normal' Morgan turns heads to no end and can only image how fantastic this would look in person.
I'm confused about the cutaway doors having a wooden frame above, wouldn't you just keep bashing your elbows? I'm trying to like it but really, deep down, I think it's rather tasteless sadly
With the exception of the "trying to hard" woodwork above the doors, I think that this is drop dead gorgeous. Pity it will be (was) priced at collectors only affordability
