It has been four years since I bought a fuel filter to add to the fuel pump outlet while keeping the original one for fuel pressure regulation.

Yes, it does feel right to have a filter between the fuel tank and the injectors. I made up a rosewood bracket to hold a Bosch filter. Completely 'over the top' but it did keep me occupied for a short while during lockdown!

Lovely bracket Andy - presume you have now also tightened the nut on the top bolt of the spring damper unit in the photo?!

I was talking to someone in sales at Glencoe the other day about Walbro fuel pumps. He said that if you need a replacement pump for your M3W they would give 10% discount to Forum members.

Thats nice to know, every little helps. Bunny and I are still waiting for our commission payments for every M3W kit sold 😁. I also paid full price for all the components a few years ago ☚ī¸.

I have recently received a M3W fuel pump kit from Glencoe. When I look at the instructions it says to cut 6mm from the bottom of the rubber foot. I now look at the rubber foot I have received and if I cut 6mm from the bottom of the foot I am merely slicing off the bits that protrude at the top. Looks like the sizing has changed so is the intention to be just left with a flat piece of rubber with nothing protruding and this is then the new foot?
