I know it’s futile, but I refuse to buy anything from Amazon, the world was a better place without the cheapskate leeching business, any money spent with tax dodging Bazos helps only him. For me also.

Me also but daughter has Prime, so if I'm desperate, I can get free postage. Just saved a shedload on a Bosch pole hedge trimmer which was £200plus locally. Big saving on Amazon. I'm Yorkshire remember.

I would prefer not to use Amazon but was looking for something recently that I couldn’t find anywhere else. Ordered in the afternoon arrived the following day with free (prime) postage. Needs must. Then, these days, we are in the control of big business. Remember those days when you wanted an obscure item of hardware? You could often find it at your local shop. Now you might find something that would do at B&Q but only in packets of 10.
