My little bit of knowledge is 16yrs of actually driving a series 1 and is certainly hard won Simon, and more than happy to share any information on the forum to help and save on parts but then I'm not a retailer like yourself. You provide a great service best leave it like that ......

Hi! I have a question for members here having issues with the electric windows on a Aero 8, I got my Aero S1 last Friday, on Sunday the passenger window was working intermittently (it had rained the night before in the way home and water got in). I don’t think it’s the cable that snapped I believe it electrical due to it working intermittently but now the last day not working at all. Could this be fuse related, switch maybe? Or is it like the motor? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Kyle

Kyle, start with the easy stuff like fuse, clean contacts, swop for another (some can develop hairline crack internally) check if you actually have power at various places in the feed, like fuse box base contacts, switch, motor, etc
Don't do too many things at once before each 'test' or you won't know what actually cured it... good luck

It is a good job that I guess the dealer will have provided a warranty with your car Kyle, so it's his problem to rectify under sale goods etc. Good luck with your splendid looking car.

The other area that suffers is where the cable loom comes through the body to door gap. It can get tight and snag/wear/snap. If it has worn and cables are shorting that might be a risk? It is quite a few and the bundle is often wearing, my S2 suffered from that.
On the S1 the front of the doors overlap with the body on the outside leading to water being forced down the door frame and along the bottom of the door into the internal leather sill trim. Important to try and soak that up if you have been out for a blast and are about to put it away or it leads to the trim behind your seat going nasty (carpet and leather side trim)
Pop the door trim off and have a look at the cable bundle for wear and exposed wires. This can also happen inside the body where it goes through the hole into the cavity which is a devil to get into?
If you have a dehumidifer then get it not working after a wet run. Have a go at getting the water and humidity out of the door. Now try it whilst wiggling the door open and closed. Then prepare for a seriously tedious session unpicking and releasing it all.
If it is the motor to window mech multi-stranded cable then you are likely to hear the motor movement still and as it starts to go you will hear the spare stranded "brushing" in the cavity?
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
