2012 5 speeder I seem to have lost power to both dials on the dash board. No speedo, revs, info, no warning lights - absolute zip. Suspect the power supply connection. Fuse ok. Taken the fire wall out. Moving wires in the loom momentarily restores but I can’t find which particular wire or connecting block is the one. The published electrical diagram is pretty useless ( to me at least) does anybody which is the supply wire?
Just out of interest, in the absence of someone to watch the display for signs of life I’ve positioned my phone where I can see it and the camera can monitor the dash.

With respect. Might be useful to know what kind of Morgan you have -- three-wheeler? four-wheeler? and what year.
Cheers

Good thought 2012, 5 speed. Now edited - to be fair it is at least on the 3 wheeler section. Its just I’m more used to the face book groups!

Having spent some time moving the loom around and having power coming on and going off, I now cannot get it it fail. Having cut away all the supporting cable ties I’m now replacing those and binding together both halves of each connector block for good measure.

Try breaking then re-making the 20 pin connector to panel from main loom. This carries on pin 2 a plain green wire with main power from fuse 9 to the panel. It may be that with your efforts you have already inadvertantly done this hence unable to re-create issue.

Fuse 9 labelled as instruments/mode select also provides power on a second green wire to the stalk switch FWIW.

The 20 pin connector seems to cause quite a few issues, intermittent engine stops etc. Thanks for your input again Richard, I can never work out how you make sense of the wire diagram in the parts book....but you do.
