I repaired mine on a previous car with seatbelt webbing. There was a split in the original pad. The new webbing stretched tight was great. I pop rivetted it to the frame using washers as load spreaders.
While the seat was out I greased the runners to help adjustment.. also cleaned the leather. Of course that meant extra cleaning on the rest!

That was in 2005, so I'm thinking it's about time I did a proper job of it.
I would like to recommend the you join our self help group for serial procrastinators.
We formed it five years ago and one of these days we will get around to having our inaugural meeting.

Not my quote, but it makes me chuckle. Apologies for the language.

Procrastination is like masturbation. Feels good at the time, but at the end of the day, you're just f*cking with yourself.....

Morgan should be embarrassed and ashamed of the poor quality and/or design of the support for the seat pad. The material used is obviously not strong enough to support the weight of the average driver over a period of time. Here we are talking about 12 years, 80,000km and an 88kg driver. Something left over from an onion bag is no substitute for proper webbing.

I made a temporary "bush mechanic" bodge until I can work out something better. I just wedged in a couple of old bits of wood that were lying around but I suspect that it may slip out of place when I start to drive. If it does I will just have to work out some system to hold it in place. The main problem is that the seat will have to be completely dismantled to fix it and August is the holiday period in Italy so there is not chance of getting any work done.

Shocking - the non alignment of the staples speaks volumes about the workmanship.
This is the business.

No. Definitely not the solution: too high and too hard. Fitting webbing has got to be the answer but I am not sure if I can work out a way to do it myself with the tools I have to hand at the moment. I might have to try Tim's strimmer line, or something similar. I am thinking of getting some of that plastic packaging straps that you can get with nylon buckles to pull it tight.

900 metres should be enough for two seats laugh
