Now if ever this one comes on the market again lads (Alistair + Nick) I'll solidly go thirds (or halves) with you both or either, if you like the colour of course As the factory support seems minimal this way we could better meet the specialist engineering costs (that's the stumbling block of Aero's for me) required with these rare beauties which are to my mind the zenith of Morgan's achievements. Almost an art form. ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2020/06/05/mx.png)

The Max is the stuff of dreams, and with my garage of dreams and income of dreams I would have bought one new.
However, using my "do I have a purpose for this car" rationale, quite honestly I don't. Other than sitting in my garage looking at the delightful shape, I really can't see when I would drive a Max. I would love to have one, BUT, for me, the balance between the gorgeous shape, but not convertible falls away into the "I would hardly ever use it" range.
We do road trips, and the whole point of road trips is roof down. Last trip to Scotland we had the roof up as far as Oban, because we were on the road at 4am. After that it stayed down for the next 900 miles. That's what Morgans are for.

Yes I can see that viewpoint but as you know Heather is not into roof off driving other than her GTI with full sliding roof with no draughts, I could get her in a Max no bother as she still owes me for talking me into having three youngsters There is room for every type of Morganeer and Mrs Morganeer

Timeshare. 26 subscribers. Two weeks a year use. 1/26th running costs. But obvious complications if damaged, and insurance might be an issue. £130k divided by 26 is £5k Bargain................... £120k divided by 12. One months use a year....£10k....not bad.

Does not the chap standing beside the Aero look a tad like the lord who swears rather a lot and who appeared on a TV prog a few years back, featuring his stately home and lifestyle...?
On sharing toys.... When my uncle thought to buy a boat, given the obvious expense, I suggested he might consider a boat share with others, to which he then related a story of childhood as the youngest of three brothers... They were given a train set between them one Christmas, which when they fell out, the eldest grabbed the train, his other older brother grabbed the carriages, and he being the youngest was left with the rails....my uncle then asked me... what the **** can you do with a few rails...? Lesson learned... (-:
