Good news Tom thumbs
I think these cars are going to find a healthy market attracting new to the brand customers that want the traditional looks without the greasy bits.

It keeps those of us happy that are traditional people but no longer find rolling around on the concrete an attractive prospect with cranky knees as well laugh2.

To be honest, after an enjoyable couple of years of Roadster ownership one of the main reasons we have the Aero Plus 8 is that we have the traditional looks but I don't have to get down on to the garage floor.. As Richard has said, getting up isn't so easy now!

After driving the Williams PlusFour manual demonstrator I'm convinced that it will sell very well and there will be a good aftermarket business in re-stuffing the seats!!

You simply need Beyonce's rack to go with it!

Today I test drove Uncle Melvyn's new +4. First impressions it looked like a trad. Getting inside My partner and I were impressed by the build quality. we liked the wood dash and the padded doors. Only criticism was the sharp edge to the tunnel. The steering wheel was a different shape than I'm used to but I found it comfortable. Digital speed read out was very welcome. This is definitely not a car for those of you that potter around at 40 mph. This is a drivers car ! It was much more planted than my +4 firm yes but comfortable. The steering very positive and nicely waited. The gear change was slick and positive. The brake pedal was softer than I like with more travel than normal however they worked well. Acceleration was extremely rapid, first gear had more than enough legs for me 60 mph came up in second in what felt like well under 5 secs. Never got into 5th or 6th through the Essex lanes, acceleration in third and fourth was outstanding changing down for overtakes not necessary. Road holding excellent even under max acceleration on a damp road no wheel spin. This car wants to be driven, we found it comfortable and confidence inspiring. Do I want one YES I DO !!!

Yes Rich, which is why I asked VSM to make one for the Roadster Sport. It just looks right.
