With all these bumpy roads my left hand rear silencer bracket has broken and the garage has bolted a temporary bracket. Trying to get a new one is impossible from Morgan and many dealers I've phoned. Looks like one has to have parts made in future as Morgan don't seem to supply Aero bits these days. Any comments please

So different now innit? When I started Morgan ownership the factory were proud of the fact that you could ring or call in and however old your car they could supply the exact part you needed. There came a day when, I've been told, they sold all their spares to Uncle Melvin. World moves on. Luckily the younger generation don't expect such longterm care.

I loved my S1 and am having no luck replacing it as everything else seems so boring but what you are facing was the main reason I sold it as I could not get simple parts like window motors, aircon condensers etc not to mention the buggy’s like fuse boxes and controllers which gave me visions of owning either the worlds biggest paperweight or the worlds biggest moneypit!
Would it be worth checking out some of the custom exhaust makers to see if the have something suitable or could make a custom one, which will probably be expensive as they have no economy of scale with Aeros.
