Just a heads up, there is a Morgan 3 Wheeler breaking on eBay with parts advertised separately, engine, gearbox, panels etc

Well whoever has bought the engine and box, just be aware that the engine and box cannot come out in one piece without cutting the chassis and the salvage company are saying that they will not be cutting the chassis...

engine and box gone and they want good money for the remainder of the stuff... I wondered about the bootlid, but it looks out of alignment and/or lightly dented on the RHS (which they dont show on the listing for the bootid, just on one of the other listings).

The engine and gearbox does come out in one unit, I have done it myself. That's how it went in at the factory.

The engine and gearbox does come out in one unit, I have done it myself. That's how it went in at the factory. Totally correct Lee. I bought our M3W in 2018. Chassis paint finish was poor, I have the Hybrid Chassis. So I took the engine and box out together. Repainted the chassis. You just need the car high enough to get some tilt on the gearbox end. Went in dead easy all together too, saved all the faff with long extensions on the bellhousing bolts. So YOU CAN take the engine and box out as one item. Ian.
