I need to clear some space on my drive.
I bought the Forester last year to commute from the midlands to Northumberland through the winter. It is the manual version, with selectable low ratio. Also is has the all weather pack, featuring headlamp washers and heated base of the windscreen (to defrost the wipers). On the inside it benefits from heated seats and automatic climate control.

As you can see from the pics it has extra side protection, and there is a detachable tow hitch and self leveling rear suspension It's a great car, having been completely reliable. It has a full service history, MOT until November 2012. It had new brake pads and discs in May 2011, and has decent tyres all around. Currently has 86k miles on the clock.

I am in Newcastle upon Tyne

I am looking for around £3750.

PM me if you need any more specific info

PS: I forgot to take interior pics, will add later in the week!

Easiest way for the photos Simon is to load them to flickr or photobucket, then add a link.

There are several copies of Simon's (Talkmorgan) "How-To" on the forum... smile

Have had two of these, run them as long as I can (last for ages), have exactly this model now. Flat four engine means Subaru can do clever things with the transmission, and gives lower centre of gravity. Great compromise between running costs and size - not a full blown 'mum truck', but we can move a three piece band with all instruments and equipment. At one gig in a field, the only things moving at the end were my MkI (loaded) and a Ferret armoured car.

Price would be cheap in the SE - garage try and buy mine back every time the weather gets a bit iffy.
