Our +4 has a dashboard with a closing glove box and a key lock. The lock contains a push-button and if pressed, should release the door and let it drop outwards.
Unfortunately, this was not anymore the case and we always needed to use the key to open. So I started create some ideas to solve the problem.
However, on closer inspection I realised how smart Morgan tackled the issue ! Just replace the compressible rubber strip and problem solved for another 10 years

Similar problem on my 4/4.
My solution was to use the little hemispherical transparent bumpers, (used on kitchen cupboard doors)
I placed one on each hinge, between the screws.
The problem appears to be solved.
