Here is a well spec'd one seen yesterday. Dynamic handling pack, Sports exhaust, Brembo front calipers, Black pack, Spare wheel, LED light pack, Sennheiser audio, soft grained leather, to name just a few. Finished in metallic marble white but asking nearly £93,000!





Dread to think of replacement cost of the 8 inch headlamps though.



Very clean rear with the reversing light barely visible but no doubt very bright. Number plate illumination looks odd from this angle though.

And missing a couple of cylinders....

The lighting component count is certainly reduced and consequently some build time. Debatable what raw component savings there are, but likely some. The missing cylinders can be made up by KH with PCM mapping (which includes auto box, halving change times whilst softening down shifts) and CAT upgrade once warranty has expired, if you can wait the three years now offered.

So take a couple of minutes to apply some tyre dressing (not the wet look stuff, ugh) to the rather scruffy looking tyrewall on the spare.

Would look much better shining 'top down' than 'bottom up' (I think some of the Trad ARP4's had a better version ?)

wel the sound is muted by the exhaust-fumes going back to the turbo
you can make it a bit louder, almost never any 'better sounding'
I payed a lot of money on an Akrapovic on my 1Mcoupé and it sounded worse, louder but worse
on my 2022 PlusFour I have the sport exhaust and that creates those horrible pops&bangs

I placed inox exhaust on a 3litr V6 roadster: that was amazing, 100x better than OEM!!
broke the exhaust on one side of my M3W: deafening :lolz:

Surely the prime poiint of a 'sports' exhaust is to improve gasflow and therefore make the car peform better? If it's just a 'louder' exhaust you want, then there are cheaper options than a full sports system.

Yes the exhaust flows better, sounds much better under full throttle, if the car is auto you can get the same level of noise in normal Sport mode as you can in Sport + Mode in a manual car but without the need for the pops and bangs that not all like. Plus... in normal driving mode cruising along the Sports exhaust is quieter with less drone than the standard exhaust due the valves in the system.

Not just the replacement cost, but also the looks, as has often been mentioned here. To be fair, I'd have to see it in real life, not just in photos. But in the photo it looks like a mismatched headlight has been temporarily tacked on with three strips of light grey duct tape.
