John Gibson was a friend of mine and those two cars in particular have been kept in outstanding condition. He won awards at local shows and I've a memory that the drophead won the 'car that I'd like to take home' award at the NEC. Both cars have been on the MSCC stand at the NEC on many occasions.

I understand that the drophead is either the oldest or second oldest production drophead still on the road (John thought it was the oldest when he bought it but found that there might be an earlier one, the ex Nancy Child car)
