By way of an ongoing update the Mintex MRM 1802 pads continue to perform extremely well. They've now had a proper workout on the road and track over close to 1,000 miles, they're still giving great bite from stone cold and remain completely silent in operation at all temps. They do create a little more dust than the original Caparo pads but it's by no means horrendous, perhaps not the pad of choice for the chrome wheel brigade but just short of 1,000 miles on my black wires looks like this. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.ibb.co/8mcjvW8/20240825-125203.jpg) I don't normally leave my wheels this long before cleaning them but I wanted to give these new fast road compound Mintex pads a proper dust test, personally I'm fine with the small amount of additional dust in exchange for all the benefits, afterall it cleans off very easily and at the 500 mile point when I'd normally be doing a wheel wash the dust really is minimal. Hope this helps? Dave.

Dave, are Mintex now stamping their pads “not for road use” on the pads as opposed to just written on the box ?

John the 1155’s say “not for road use” on the box. Which is one thing as referred to on this thread. But I hear it is now stamped on the pads, which to me is more of a problem.

This website would suggest 1155 on are only for the track.
