I've just watched the latest episode of Richard Hammond's Workshop, it's mostly nonsense but it did feature our very own star of the small screen, Graham marshalling the start line at Prescott as the Smallest Cog MGB went up the hill.

Steve - that's a repeat, I saw it a year or so ago, and I don't think that was the first transmission  Keith - they let me out occasionally! Seriously, for non-comp events if the other controller is available then I go out on Start. He has been on TV - he is a controller in a Wiltshire police control room
