To the assembled cognoscenti: My 2015 Morgan 3-W has recently developed a loss of turn signal function, as well as loss of tachometer and associated functions. Otherwise, the machine runs flawlessly.
The nice people at Morgan Spares, Copake, NY, indicate to me that the most likely culprit is the turn signal relay. They note that the relay is marked with an "E", followed by a "bunch of numbers".
If anyone can indicate to me where I may be able to locate the turn signal relay in my Morgan, it would be greatly appreciated.
Best,

Tom

Definitely sounds like the Turn Signal Module part number E340098, only available from Morgan. It is a black box located underneath the fuse box below the ECU

I agree with Rog G it's the TSM.

Krazy Horse will have one in stock and should be able to send you one to the USA - https://krazyhorse.co.uk/

Alternatively Alistair in the UK has developed an improved version which addresses the issues with the standard module. I don't have his current contact details but Bunny is in touch with him. See thread Turn Signal Module

The turn signal module (TSM) relies on a signal from the vehicle speed sensor to operate. This sensor is located near the right front hub and is connected to the TSM by rather fragile and exposed wiring that runs along the rear part of the lower control arm on that side. As I learned personally, it's worth taking a good look at that wiring looking for damage as that is a pretty simple repair.

Edit: just realized my comments above apply to the early 12 pin version of the TSM, which was later superseded by an 18 pin version (I'm not sure when that occurred). The comments may not apply to the 18 pin version.

I believe Alistair's version did replace the later 2014 (chassis ending 202114 and on) OE 18 pin TSM which integrated the flasher relay, so comments above are relevant to OP's 2015 car, noting both versions require an input from speed sensor.

FWIW I believe Alistair was asking for an earlier car with 12 pin TSM so he could possibly adapt his version to suit.

Gentlemen: Thank you very much for the prompt replies and suggestions. I will proceed with checking the speed sensor, and post my findings.
Best,

Tom

There is a 2000 ohm resistor in the wheel sensor wiring about ten centimeters from the sensor, just strip the wiring harness to check it, the resistor breaking caused the tachometer to fail once, the second time the sensor was HS I replaced it with an adaptable HD sensor plus a 2K ohm resistor, everything has been working again for 3 years.

As Alister lives only a mile or so from me I met up with him and had a chat about the TSM.

He does have the capability to build some more and ideally would prefer orders for 10 or more at a time. The Leadtime is likely to be a couple of months.

The cost is £84 plus shipping and to keep it simple in the first instance let me know and I'll collate the orders into batches.

I've ordered 10 to get some stock going but if your are seriously interested in one please let me know on here.

Chris
