I've notice a small chip on the rim and around one of the black balancing weights, the rest of the wires are fine. Has anyone any recommendations for touch up paint for now. At some point I may get the wheels repainted in a different colour as black shows up the dirt no sooner you have cleaned them.

Thanks in advance.

Hammerite smooth/gloss would be my first choice but then I always have some available.

One of my first choices, but not having any to hand leaves me with more options if a better solution comes along.

Yes I've seen the ebay touch up paints/sticks etc.....there are so many versions of black gloss, I just wondered if any had a good match they have tried.

Though my wire wheels are silver/grey and not black, I am personally not keen on Hammerite.
I am fortunate to have a model shop close by and have always found that Humbrol enamel to do the job well.
For me, easier to use and there is a wide range of each shade of silver/grey.

Yes I've thought of modeller's enamel paint like Humbrol, glad to hear it worked.
