Yep, Front wings/running boards off, rear wings can stay on! cowl/grill first. Rest really depends on what you are doing but Id also remove the gear box and transmission covers first as well. Ed's video is very good but the body can stick to the chassis by way of the rubber isolating strips so when applying lift to the body be prepared to ease/help the separation, If the engine and g/box have been removed its possible to lift the chassis whilst undertaking a body lift and watch it drop dramatically. This release tends to allow the body to move and as you will see your lifting points are not fantastic to start with! You'll need a two post lift minimum really as you can then store the body in the lift footprint and reposition the rolling chassis where you want it!. Stripped out two can lift the chassis and position it on tressles out of the way but you really do need space and its not a job to be rushed. Also expect to find much more work to do than you may have expected!
Good luck with the planned work, the Morgan doesn't really have any horrible surprises to throw at you as most of it's construction is old school logic but it just takes time, more than generally planned for!

You do realise that after Edd and Mike had there hands on it it went back to a Morgan dealer to be rebuilt properly?
As for a guide to chassis replacement? Forget it! Any one who has done the job will tell you that the most important job on a chassis change is to get the crosshead set onto the chassis correctly - get that wrong and you are left with a car which will not steer or handle right but that pair don't give it a mention!

Having never even considered such a mammoth task, it was interesting to compress into less than an hour what many hundred's of hours involved in a rebuild could/would most likely involve. I didn't realise that someone else had to finish the job off. That's the beauty of TV and the role of the editor and what's not to be aired finishes up on the cutting room floor.
I take my hat off to anyone who undertakes such work, I have neither the garage space, tools , lifts and patience to even consider such, a job although I do have a knack for taking things apart but a propensity of not being able to put them back together.

Are you sure about that? My understanding from the dealer concerned was that he sold them the car then bought it back from them done and sold it on to a customer. Was there another dealer involved after that?
