On my way home from Upton last Tuesday I passed a CX just outside the town, 23 plate. Suspect it may have been one of MMC hire cars. Pat Hadleigh was at Prescott competing over the weekend in his +8.

Short run out to the other side of Gloucester to see a pal who had made me some film canister size containers for use at Prescott. Back via a garden centre that stocks some excellent cards (birthday etc.) and my favourite Eccles cakes

So I just got my Plus 4 trad a few weeks ago and have been driving it around my home in Katy, TX virtually every day. Amazingly, 2 days after I took delivery of the car this month, what do I see driving in the opposite direction in my neighborhood but a red Plus 8! We both pulled over and had a nice chat, turns out he's a UK ex-pat and recently got his Plus 8 in the UK and shipped it over. It was a gorgeous car - a lot cleaner than my somewhat tatty Plus 4 - but his was about 15 years younger to be fair  . Planning on getting a coffee soon - great guy! I have NEVER seen a Morgan in Texas - and now I see one two days after I get one - must be fate! Cheers, GC

Collected my new to me Plus Four from Krazy Horse and drove it 300 miles back to Exeter in the glorious weather. Did a healthy mix of A and B roads with a bit of motorway as well.
