I saw her sailing away from Penarth Pier early june when I was on the Yacht Club balcony doing race officer duty. Not a brilliant photo - mobile phone on full zoom and since I was trying to get the fleet together I only noticed her at the last moment.
I seem to remember that there are some other coal fired paddle steamers in NZ, and there is one on a lake in south america.
Well, we're on the Clvevedon / Tenby voyage again this year. Thursday June 6th (return by coach) I'm then taking a Clevedon / Ilfracombe and return sailing on 19th with a fellow radio amateur.

Have a great couple of voyages Graham. I am assuming on the Waverley, I see no image on Howards posting. The Waverley is due to visit Dartmouth a couple of times this year the DHNA tell us Here We'll be looking out for her. I remember my voyage on her many years ago to St Marys when the Scillonion broke down mid season a lovely old girl.
Just a reminder of our steam paddler still going strong on the Dart.

Sue and I had a very enjoyable trip on Kingswear Castle all those years ago Richard. Yes, will be on the Waverley Peter, that looks a very nice vessel.. Enjoy your trip when it eventually comes off.
