Speaking of Devon roads: the last time I was there a truck threw up a stone the size of a golf ball that nearly came through the windscreen right in front of Alis's face. Fortunately my insurance covered most of the cost (maximum €1,000). Those heated windscreens must have gold wires in them judging by the cost.

Agreed Peter, the replacement windscreen for the Coupe was £1100 according to the Autoglass site manager. Must be a record per square inch! It feels like there is a dodgy little insurance milking process building up here.

E marked glass only at a cracking price from Uncle Melvyn..

If you are not bothered about the ineffectual heated version visit your local Agricultural machine suppliers and they will put you in touch with the supplier and fitter of laminated screens for tractors, JCB's et al.
You will be surprised at the cost but you will need to provide the new seals and windscreen if you fret about ingress of h2o ie you put your roof up grin2.

Which reminds me I have a slightly stone chipped wind screen plus metal surround off my S1 Roadster in stock plus a 3.7l roadster rad (not leaking when removed). Generous libations of beer will secure if you collect from ip11

Richard now you have destryoed the market!! Being serious if you don't care about the screen heating the frame can be used for basic safety glass saving those who dont have windscreen cover a few beers (less mine)

Yes John I suggested that above however my Plus 8 is a 10 stud so no use to me but happy to give it to someone else. I had 4 fitted to my 4/4 Sport innocent
We have a skip coming in a couple of weeks and it’ll be in there else, don’t think it’ll fit a Testlar 🤡

And I have two from easy up roadster in my garage, one with a tiny chip, one with a few wires not heating, both with surrounds. Collect from hants/ Surrey border, I would ask for a very small donation to my favourite charity
