Coming in fresh to Morgan will always be a huge challenge Jon.

It's been said already that most models have issues. It's also true to a degree that newer means better assembled, at least for the trads. So post '97 you should see a galvanised chassis, stainless bulkhead and Superform wings with all aluminium panels.

1997 was the transition year, so that year could get you a hybrid, because the long door improvements didn't arrive with a big bang.

Anything 'short door'. £8k - £17k..... unless it's historic
Zetec..... £16k - £22k
Duratec..... £24k - £29k
Sigma... £24k - £29k....

There are a lot of 4/4's advertised for well in the £30k's, they've probably been on for many months though or are owned by dealers who paid too much. They won't sell unless they are reduced dramatically.
The odd low mileage 80th anniversary is possibly worth early £30's or a very late high spec 'bespoke' car, apart from that £30k is the ceiling for a 4/4........IMHO🙃

I'm happy to be told how wrong I am........

Maybe 4/4 sellers should advertise in Germany, too. Let's say a €10,000 discount for a right-hand drive car would still generate significantly more... if the advertised expectations of the offers are reasonably credible and realistic.
