I remember teal being one of the standard “Sport” colours for a while. It was always a bit overlooked. I have never seen one in the flesh but it looks very nice in those photographs.

Teal was not a Sport option in 2009 when they launched the 4/4 Sport when I got mine but may have been added at a later date.
Look at the price and weep grin2

£26,995. Those were the good old days.

I remember paying around 45k for my Roadster in 2012. My similarly specd 2020 one cost nearly 65k !

@Lordofthewings - Wow! The different lighting makes it look considerably closer to my car. Like you, I'm partial to it. I don't feel like I see myself coming and going all the time.

On a side note, what's the story on the grille and scoop on the red one?

It's a strange one. Here's a still from a YouTube video of that event in Devon. Online records show the car to be a 4/4 first registered on 2 December 1976, mileage was 95,825 at its last MoT Test on 11 June 2019. Currently showing as not on the road, perhaps someone on here knows the car and its history ?

So my build sheet from the factory says my car (1965 Plus 4) was painted in a custom color "Deep Bronze Green" - which I understand is a standard Land Rover color...however, the car has been repainted a few times since new - wondering what others think the paint is now...still "Deep Bronze Green"? or something closer to the stock Morgan "Westminster Green"?

Not to Hijack this thread - but the custom cowl on that red 4/4 is just simply fantastic! - and actually shouldn't be too difficult to fabricate as it looks like it's just an addition to the bottom of the cowl that wraps onto an added lower valence - though I wonder if it would look as good on a high-cowl Plus 4. Would love it if someone in the aftermarket started reproducing something similar, along with the cut-down bumpers...I'd buy one!
