Zach,

Many thanks for posting the list.....my car is now sorted, burnt out at the back of a 20 amp fuse board mounted on the bulk head due to a lose wire connection.

Hi John

Sorry for the late previous post. I Had to go out and had left the post open and then posted without checking the latest. Glad to hear your problem has been resolved

Hope the back is holding up well , honeymoon and all 😹

Needless to say once I let Sue know, she was overjoyed, she's now planning weekend of sunshine trips out. I'm certainly glad they found it, the problem in itself was a cheap fix, but getting there less so.

I'm glad most of the electrics has now been given the once over, always a concern when a car has been inactive and stored for so many years, never know what vermin have had access to whilst in storage.
That sounds positive and so pleased Sue is fully onboard and planning ahead - 😊

Zach, very interesting info on how the key and immobiliser ring work with the ECU etc

Many thanks for posting, as at some point this could be very helpful to another Mog owner, and is what TM is all about thumbs

Although it's been a bit of a pain, the actual fault is good news as it simple, much better than an intermittent electrical glitch that comes and goes leading to loss of confidence in the car

I couldn't agree more, there is always a slight nagging doubt when a car have been in storage for years as to whether the wiring and electrical components may lead to problems when the car is recommissioned, At least most of it has been tested now, so hopefully fingers crossed it should give me more confidence.

Well this is the source of the particular problem, the rear of the 20amp fuse (from the fuse box on the bulk head), that feeds all the relays behind the dash.

Good to be back in the Morgan.

I have a rubber to replace on the brake pedal that I have been assiduously trying to ignore so now is the time for a diving exercise, just hope I can extricate myself by nightfall.
