shocked!

rummaging through my drawers (as you do) I stumbled on a Tamiya Morgan 4/4 model that I must have bought 20 odd years ago and forgotten about. A quick peek on eBay and they are on sale for over £100!

so now I have a dilemma, tuck it back in the cupboard, sell it or build it? Or is that a trilemma?

Reduce to dilemma. Putting it back in the drawer is silly. You either build it or sell it.
The fun of a build versus the £100 worth of beer!

Stick it back in the drawer and watch it appreciate some more grin2 as you clearly have zero interest in constructing it..

Offered on eBay over £100...but a search of sold items reveals most go for £45 ish, although one did sell for £75.
45 would be enough to make me sell....you could almost buy a real one for 100 these days.....😭

I have seen a better increase in value with my Kyosho TOK 258 in the last 12 years than with my 4/4 where it is more of a decrease in value, but I don't care 🙂
At the moment I can only find a single and damaged TOK 258 on the internet.

Deffo BUILD IT, if you stick it back in a cupboard and the years roll by...you fall off the perch & kids bin the box during the clear out = sad, but inevitable

Build it!
I bought exactly the same kit before I could afford one in 1:1 scale.
I plan to build mine blue or royal, ivory, different from the full scale I own.

Took up my hobby of building model kits last winter again.

I am thinking of building model kits again. Loved doing Airfix when young. Moved to actual working models ( gliders, rubber piwer, small boats. Recently sold some Mecano stuff that was in the attic during a house move. It's a shame Mamod is gone too.

The last kits I built was for my railway, and I realised that my patience with small plastic parts on sprues is long gone. There are some awesome kits out there but not for me. The Lego stuff however, and the Land Rover range in particular is tempting.
