Hello Klaus welcome. The chassis no. can be found on the chassis beam under the seat. With my 4/4 it was on the beam in front of the right seat. At the +4 behind the right seat.

Thanks for your help. So, in my car, there is a beam in front of the right seat.... I found nothing on it. To check the other beam underneath the seat, I have to demount the right seat, right?

Hi Klaus, welcome to TM! You should be able to see the beam when you move the seat forward You may have to scrape a bit of paint off to have a clear view. I did it to make it easier to find on the MOT. ![[Linked Image]](https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54049306442_448f178094_b.jpg)

Hi Klaus My memory is apparently not what it used to be.If it ever was. When I went for a ride on Sunday, I saw that the chassis beam on the +4 is in front of the seat. It's a galvanized chassis, very difficult to see the no. You can use a light to create some shadow,

On my Aero S2 and Coupe there is a number on display along the top edge of the dash, readable through the windscreen? Is this what you are after ?

Oh sorry I just read the title, you are discussing one of the models previous to the Aero with that odd wood stuff? I assumed it was an "aero" Plus 8 given it was in the Aero section.
