Just seen this on facebook posted an hour ago by Mog magazine:

Morgan Motor Company has announced that CEO, Massimo Fumarola, has left the business, and that Chief Technical Officer Matt Hole is taking over the role.
I've only met Matt once, for a MOG interview, but he has a deep, deep knowledge of Morgan and its values, and an unmatched passion for the brand.
MOG hopes to speak to Matt, once he's settled into the hot-seat, but, for now, we wish him the very best in his new role.

No mention as yet on MMC website.

Whilst venture capitalists don't like loss making activity like the CX rad & brake issues. If they say left not sacked it sounds by mutual consent.

MMC I notice have announced that he left for personal reasons.

He's been there three years, that's quite a long time for these sort of chaps/executive roles isn't it?
Get good salary package, go into role, ignore what made company profitable, change lots of things in name of progress, get paid off before unintended consequences show up.

Not really that long. I understand this is due to non business reasons and we I think should respect that.
He brought a lot of needed discipline to MMC and that was good for us.

I have seen this odd characterization here before. It indicates a lack of research. Perhaps I can help.

The current MMC (the new owners changed the name back to the MMC one the Morgan family had to adopt in 2011ish) is owned by Investindustrial, namely Andrea. He is from
one branch of the super well-known (2 centuries... very old money) international Bonomi Family, He is also the founder of Investindustrial (1990). He is a currently Plus 8s (1980) desert
rally racer. Referring to a Bonomi by a single nationality is like calling Caesar salad Roman. smile

Mr. Bonomi was born in New York, went to Boarding school In France, teen years in England, university in New York City and back. Calls the UK home IIRC. He built Investindustrial
from 0 in the early 1990s to 13.8 billion Euros of assets under control today. Speaks fluent English, French, Italian, and Spanish. And even the charming M. Fumerola took his
business training at the best UK business schools. He is/was well-liked on Pickersleigh Road.

The MMC top staff chosen is the best in the modern sports car world. Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari, AM... However, I have only corresponded with Massimo and Mark.

gmg

P.S. The moniker "Budster" comes originally from Missouri/Arkansas.
