An interesting point about the A110 is that, care of its' aluminium body and careful lightweight build, it only weighs 1020kgs wet or thereabouts, the same as a current or even trad +/Plus Four and yet the very lightness is often credited as being responsible for the way they drive, however, given that the Mogs are the same weight and power to weight as well and, frankly, with the best will in the world, drives nowhere near as well, the Alpine has a very special secret ingredient that really makes it special. Whether that is the true mid engine design or the wishbone suspension all round or just French flair, I haven't decided, but it certainly has something very few cars have.
BTW Simon, how serious are you? I'm looking at buying a 2 year old Merry Fisher 695 and may be selling my 2020 A110 Legende to help fund it soon.............
