The wheels on my car are the same all round . But the tyres on the rear are larger than the front . This seems to be the same on all models .
I would like to have the larger tyre all round to protect the rims .
Is there any reason I cant .?

You could look for tyres made with the inbuilt rim protector, although in rubber it's a bit soft
Look for these refs in the tyre spec
RFP (Rim Fringe Protector)
FP (Fringe Protector)
MFS (Maximum Flange Shield)
Or, have you considered Rimblades or AlloyGators

If you do have a wider tyre fitted to the front please check the clearance inside the arch on full lock. I have the thinner tyres on the front and when you are on full lock (either way) you can hear something touching in there. Given the engine oil/water cooler is free in their you have to be careful.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
