I like it, I’ve not been driving my 4/4 much lately, maybe a modern chassis might encourage me to use it more. I’d certainly enjoy the wooly carpets, as it is I drive my Morgan with my shoes off, the carpets have as good as sold it to me, how much do these cars cost?

Well said Dale.

It will be interesting to see what's next and if they will use the B58 again and add in a manual which BMW recently has done with the Z4.

For collectors or those who are drawn to a limited edition, such small details that are unique and not had on other derivatives is like an additional cherry on top. I am also a firm believer that there will be customers who were on the fence about a Plus Six and something like this will be an attractive proposition. It was for me with the 80th. Do a search for the 80th and the thread discussing its release had a whiff of what is being said here. It was polarising for many but a reason to buy for others.

£98k Ewan but a normal Plus Six with options to bring it to the spec of this would run approx £107. I truly like it but it's a fair way out of my budget unfortunately.

We went to the P6 launch day at Prescott and I felt very enthusiastic for the future of Morgan, the melding of trad bodywork on a Lotus engineered alloy tub was potentially a double win

If they chucked in a removable hard top like the launch cars had I’d be tempted. Mind you, the list of available large engined, open two seaters might be quite long at this price.

The wooly mats are ok I have experienced the same in a Bentley, and like Ewen I often drive the Morgan in bare feet, with reference to some earlier posts I am just off to the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron for lunch , but no blazer just Denim shorts and a short sleeved shirt rofl we have just won the Americas Cup again!
So not all yacht clubs are as the Royal Thames where I got pulled aside for strolling about in jeans.

I agree, I always thought that lovely though the Aero series were, the trad shape suited me better. I'd love a Plus Four (P6 is just too powerful for me and the roads I drive on) but it's always been the cost that was the issue for me.

But with 49 P4 and 28 P6 listed unsold on MMC's site, never mind whatever's out there privately looking for a new home, it seems inevitable that MMC have got to come up with a different way of working to stay in business. There will always be small numbers of wealthy people happy to pay large amounts of money for the exclusivity and caché of a Morgan, but is that enough to keep the factory busy? I hope so.

Slightly off topic

How do you fancy the AB's chances in the upcoming series.

Yeah, I remember the rather eventful drive home without the roof. There was a good inch of water in the footwell......
