I have just bought a 1963 morgan plus 4 DHC.
The past owner has done a full rehab all but a paint job and a new roof.
Im getting ready to paint it and want lift it up on blocks. Question is what is safe to lift it by? In the front the i want to lift it in the center and put block under both side and take off the wheels. Can i lift it by the axel?
In the back can i lift it by the center of the rear end?
Im asking first. Before i do anything.
This is my first morgan and want be safe and not bend or punch a hole in something.
I want lift it up and put car lifts on top of a 4 wheel dolly under 4 points to be able to move it around to work on sanding and painting. And help or ideas would be very helpful thank you.

We have a long established DC member on here with a blue metallic Plus 8, sorry I have forgotten his name at the moment but I'm sure he'll be along soon.

Depends where in the world you are. Allon Whites in the uk are very good.

Ric, location of a good trimmer to make you a new hood depends on how far you are prepared to travel as they will need the physical car in the trimshop to make one in-situ, what's your approx location ?
