Oh, and a final thing I've been thinking about, with the low windshields (I'm definately not going to get the high ones), do you think it would help if one found some curved see-through plastic (curved in profile) to glue to the front (at the top edge) of the windshield to deflect a little more wind? Sort of like a mini ski hop for the wind? Feasable? I was wondering about this, not to stop wind but to stop any rain water that had fallen on the bonnet/shuttle etc being forced into the driver.

Very good point about the rain - I hadn't thought about it perhaps being able to stop/deflect rain too.

nothing like a little waterfall into your lap... It is interesting that they opted for two separate windscreens instead of one that was shaped to push the water along to the side. As is, per what I said before, I could really see it just waterfalling onto you as all the water that hits the hood would just roll right back into your lap. maybe morgan can just fit one of these...LOL! http://www.canoekayak.com/files/2011/03/wpid-harmony_sirius_sprayskirt_a.jpg

Sweet, Aeroman. Would that now be changed to "Missing a wheel-man"? Could be, though I still have the Aero SS and don't intend to dispose of it as imho it's a great car in the almost classic Grand Routier tradition, i.e. optimised to waft unerringly across Europe. The M3W is really another animal altogether and will be used much more for high-days and holidays, if and when we get some decent sunshine in the UK and it's time to hoon round the country lanes... Once I take delivery I will answer your various queries AQM, but that will be after the 17th Feb as that is when I plan to pick it up from the Works. Until then, I'm on tenterhooks and can't really answer your questions authoritatively. However, as you can see from this photo taken by Asbo yesterday, there is a certain amount of room under the front bonnet which can be utilised too, providing a suitable receptacle is designed for it. There are still a few tweaks to be added to my car and like Asbo I have a number of changes that I want to make to the car once I take delivery, including heated seats!

I thought someone was getting heated seats from the factory, so it might be something you could ask them about.
As to the cubby space in the front, it would seem like that would be fairly easy to get something built to fit in that space. even a bit of plexi with rubber stoppers to prevent rubbing of the paint would go a long way.
I do wonder why they left the hole soo large directly above the transmission in that front area as I presume that at this point a lot of debry may find its way up there.

That's 81bhp? Mogwire was right then drive it then judge it sad it is hard to get it fixed on a rolling road for a power-output-test

My miata has 125 Kw and weighs 1,095 kg and is plenty of fun, but thats also because it has a decent amount of torque. From the way it sounds the 60 Kw in a car that weighs 850 kg may be enough for some fun to be had.
The cars dont appear sluggish in all of the videos that have been launched. No one has mentioned it needing more power in reviews and where some may choose to add some performance to the engine (which as many have said, is readily available through S&S), the car at least appears to have plenty of power.
