TalkMorgan ... stick to your guns Sir!! ... someone has to hold the line for sanity as we descend into a corporate hell of overlapping 'Retail Opportunities' ... December is plenty early enough to acknowledge the proximity of Christmas ... personally I don't start til December is in its twenties!! 🙂

K

Ps.. and then then it's only a half-hearted 'bah-humbug- attempt 🙂

Likewise; when I owned a 2CV, that was also great to drive in snow.
Coming upto date, our 2WD Fiat Panda Cross is also very good in slippery conditions.
Narrow tyres, plenty of suspension travel and not too much power, makes it ideal.

Other benefits include, nice and narrow for Devon lanes, simple controls and 45 to 50mpg.

We do not do snow well in the UK. Never prepared. In Slovenia everyone has a set of winter tyres/wheels( it’s the law) . I think this is true for Austria and Germany? The roads, byways and local side roads seem to get cleared really quickly
I don’t think we had snow in South London last winter thankfully. Driving the south circulator is no fun at the best of times .
I love the snow, love skiing, watching winter sports especially ski flying but the snow needs to stay on the hills and mountains.!
I used my last few logs last night in the wood burner (yes Defra approved) but still no doubt frowned upon by Kommissar Khan. I bet he will try to outlaw before his third term ends.. As his mob took away my heating allowance, the least I can do is try to annoy him.. Thankfully my order of a jumbo XXXL 1.8 metre high bag of Ash arrived JIT this afternoon .
Having a car with a winter pack of heated seating, heated steering wheel, heated windscreen, wing mirrors and wipers certainly is one benefit of modern cars vs my old Morgan heater………..
To those suffering or struggling with snow, stay warm &;toasty, MM

Sadly we had just a few flakes dropping but not coming to rest. It's also perfect weather for an AMG E63 with 700hp on two 285 road rollers with an autobox. Well if you enjoy going sideways when it is clear and suitable at ultra low speeds. Well worth a giggle.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
