Hi to all; My user name will be a bit misleading - it's a carryover from a different forum, and the "m" is for Mustang. The Morgan that I am restoring is a 1959(?) Plus 4/4 seater. I picked up on the project where a friend ( now deceased) left off. I have had a rather rough introduction to Morgans, as this one was in pieces. I joined this forum for enlightenment and encouragement! Currently, I have re-installed the engine and driveline, but have many questions about the SU carbs. Once I have had a look around the website,I will ask my questions. Any pointers to tech articles or pictures will be appreciated. Thanks, and I am looking forward to the Morgan experience.

Welcome to the forum Rick. Good luck with finishing the restoration - you'll find plenty of experience and encouragement round here to help you along the way. By way of encouraging everyone here how about posting some photos of progress so far?

SU carbs are the best. MSO tells me to stay away from carbs for my cholesterol... the SU Carbs are ok. As I understand it is that they are simpler to deal with than the Webers. Welcome to the forum. Here is another website of great info: http://gomog.com/regards

I have created a photo album on the talkmorgan photobucket site. It is named "Rebuilding Mike's Morgan", in honour of my late friend. I intend to add more as I go along, but this is a start. Next up will be some engine rebuild pictures.
