A photo take before the nose piece was repainted. Which shows how much I moved the front emblem.
To fasten the hinge, I used stainless button head hex screws for a rivet look. I had thought about replacing
them with rivets once I was happy with the fitment, and had repainted the upper surfaces, but it turned out
there was no need for the repaint so left them alone. The hinge, btw, is a stainless piece from Amazon,
pre drilled, which allowed the hinge to serve as a drill guide. I later added a small bit of stainless weld to the front
part of the hinge and ground it to a blunt bullet shape as you can see in the photo above, because, why not?
