Will be interesting to see what this one fetches. Seems to have a few paint issues, particularly the rear wheel arches, is this common ?

Wondered if it belonged to a TM member.

A real sign of the times a lovely looking series 3. I got the nod off the wife a couple of years ago on a rather nice series 4 the ladies love a proper hanbrake lever. Glad I waited a bit for the plus 6 however prices have dropped considerably since purchase, Dealers are still trying to buck the system on Trads though even though some have had stocks for nearly two years.

Yes it's reality time for all Morgan owners and most classic cars come to that.

As ever the important thing is to enjoy them to the full now before the numpties outlaw or outprice the fuel etc.

Here we go again !

Back up for auction. Wonder if it'll do better this time around ?

Personally, if I were the owner I'd have the paint sorted on the rear wheel arches.

Firstly, hello - recently joined and first post.

Yes, one I spotted first time around. I am looking for an Aero 8, pref S1, but open minded.

This one not only has bad paint after of the O/S rear, but forward of the front O/S and along the bottom of the wing below the vent.

Looks like I just missed out on a nice Ragusa Green S1 smile

Said Ragusa Green S1 is still in my garage for another couple of weeks but will be available at Williams soon after that...

Following that S3 on C&C.

Looks like a bit of push back from comments - the corrosion looks a lot more extensive than the description sets out and the lack of a recent service is a worry. I appreciate Berrybrook are selling for a client, but a little more transparency and detail might have aided their efforts.

It looks a lovely car but a pity it has not had a service to reduce some of that purchase risk and increase the price.

I want to be clear; we're not selling the car for the customer! It's a C&C auction. As the customer is not accustomed to C&C we'd said we'd help out. There are no issues with service history, as he was not using the car he got the car M.O.T closer to home, he has the receipts and invoices for proof. I have answered any questions that have been asked and I don't know where the idea that there is no transparency has come from?! This after all is an auction, we have tried to be as clear as possible with and information, again, we didn't write the description, it does say there are additional invoices with it . This car is lovely having driven it, it just doesn't meet retailer standards as mentioned in the answers on C&C.

Thanks, appreciate the reply and apologies, I was a little harsh. It was a touch confusing to read and as a prospective bidder, it wasn't clear who, what, where and when until the comments began to roll out.

I guess you guys are trying to help and it's a case of no good deed goes unpunished. The vendor would have been sensible to get it serviced, just to assuage people's concerns - we have to fill in blanks and potentially commit a lot of money so it's natural to have some nervousness. I know you guys are absolutely 100% with a good reputation. Sadly, having looked at various cars on C&C, I've encountered some sharp practice so until it appeared you had at least a walk on part, which gave some comfort, it was all a touch woolly.

As I said, it looks a lovely car and whilst it needs some remediation on the paint, it's clearly been looked after.

You have nothing to apologise for! The vendor is a really good customer, we've known him a longtime. We're a family run business and like to treat people as we're treated, reputation is everything in this game. We're always here to help as the Morgan world can be scarey.

Someone will have a lovely car this evening.

£40k.

I think someone bought a very lovely car for that sort of money.
