The alluminium windscreen pillars on my +4 are badly pitted. I have sanded them down and was thinking of having them chromed.
Does anyone have experience of chroming, or can recommend a reliable company. The chrome will of course be exposed to the elements. So needs to be well applied and of quality.
All the best
Tony

Can't help re the chroming, but I believe John Worrall at Heart of England Morgans does a variety of polished stainless steel replacements.

The HoE ones are things of beauty, but are very heavy and are not necessarily going to get the windscreen at exactly the same angle as before without some filing of holes. That is why, in the end I did not fit mine - '02 +8

It is worth costing vs John Worral's replacements. Happy Hu thumbs nting

You can even chrome plastics. Most chrome on cars these days (say, window frames) are chromed plastics.

Chromed plastics is one of the reasons I have an aversion to chrome. It feels and looks cheap to me (regardless of it actually being cheap).
