A piece of Morgan history is up for sale at Richard Thorn the ex Strudsa gt3 car. Helen very kindly showed me the car when it came in probably six or seven years ago now it was quite a shunt but was going to be re built. It really deserves to be put back together one of three not sure which one came to Thrill on the hill but made my fruity Aero sound like a ford Anglia in comparison. Go on someone buy it.

Whilst the car for sale is not an Aero Supersports, I was present to watch a Supersports win at Silverstone in 2009 and it was a superb moment.
Putting this Aero 'GT3' back on the road would be a real labour of love and, based on the photos, no small task.

The good lady wife (silently suffering with a fixed smile) and I attended that day, it was quite amazing. Listening to them against the buzzing revs of the other cars was quite wonderful. Great to see that back in circulation. It would be interesting to see if there was enough interest in doing a run of the front wings with the vents etc to add to S4+ cars!
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

It would be interesting to see if there was enough interest in doing a run of the front wings with the vents etc to add to S4+ cars! It is certainly do-able based on the run-out Aero GT and the wings fitted to those. Perhaps, if there was enough interest, they would consider offering 'upgrades' for the Aero line - akin to an AR branded modification program. Perhaps a nice line of revenue for MMC and also help to keep both the company and the owner engaged with the Aero product line.
