Having watched the video it looks not too bad at all on the road ... once you forget it's an MGB it has it's own look ... and certainly no worse than a lot of other US 2 seaters ... it seems to sit the road fine and go well .... amazing amount of work and a nice job. Seeing it in its natural habitat I've warmed to it a fair bit.

What skilled guy. I don't like the dash but overall agree with Image.

Here's just a few of the US attempts at a 2 seater that were beaten far harder with the ugly-stick than the MG 🙂 ... and from established manufacturers (and with the help of a respected Italian designer in one case) ... there's some real horrors out there if you extend to the small-run cars! 😧) ..... enjoy 😆

Perhaps inspired by the famous Artz Golf 1?

This is the link to the video
that Luddite posted.

If you watch it you have to admire the fabrication skill he has developed during the project. Since the video was made he has sold the car and I think started another project but not idea what it is.

Admiration for the skills involved but like HS2 the end result needs further research.

The MGB the Americans always wanted.

If that were an Englishman he would of simply purchased a Corvette Z model and converted it to RHD , then spent 18 years driving it.

Maybe because the classic MGB is nowadays an old banger of little merit. That said why does he need to go for the bloat that has become fashionable in the Land of the Free - and here for that matter.

Mind you, as a long term Triumph man, I never thought much of the MGB or big Healey in their day.
