In reality it's probably worse than it looks and the reason it's not been repaired to date.

Can it be worse than it looks........!!!😆
It looks like expensive scrap....... £75K.........😆😆😆
You'd have to be very keen/clinically insane/humongously wealthy to take that on.........

I wouldn't mind bidding on those headers, I wonder how many other parts are bespoke to the GT3?

Realistically, the only people who could restore that car to how it really was, are those who built it and maintained it as a racer. Anyone else won't have the detailed knowledge. I doubt Morgan will have the time or inclination to restore this car, and throwing £75k at it just to get possession doesn't make much sense to me.

It's Morgan racing history at a time when aero's were really on the map without Strudza there would never have been the Aweomax. In competition terms cars llike this are being rebuilt in clubmen's garages all over the country. Seen a lot worse all the important bits are still there.

It's hard (and expensive) enough to get parts for a road Aero some times. Good luck to them, it was a special moment.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Did it ever win anything ?
I appreciate the role it played in the Aeromax gestation but it will cost a small fortune to put back in running order, we are forever being told you cannot repair an alloy tub once it's had a big shunt which clearly this was so a museum is the only call I suspect.

Not sure about this one, but the Dewalt liveried ones did quite well ?
