We have ordered the Morgan leather cases. I will post some photos and give my impressions after we have collected the car on the 20th March.

Cases rather than case Peter? You seen the size of them?

To clarify: one suit case and two leather travel bags.

Love those leather travel bags - but think I'm going to go for the "Hills Alive" tailored jobbies - for the maximum packing capacity. 'Er Indoors is already threatening to send an additional suitcase to France by advance guard - I think I'm going to need all the space I can muster swmbo

Think we'll have to have one of those "sausage rolls" attached to the front of the case/rack - if I can find a suitable candidate: can't afford the Simmonds solution, on top of everything else. spend

I suggest you look at an ortlieb duffle bag - fully waterproof and about £50

Cheers!

I use lockable surf board tie down straps, such as

http://www.24-7boardsports.com/buy-spt-lockable-roof-rack-straps-2-5-metres/

Mainly to deter oportunist thieves.
