Chroming plastic or metal is not the problem, finding someone who is willing to do one-offs or small quantities without losing anything is the hard part

Well, I'm pretty sure that if I were to find a place to do it, it would either be in the UK or in Germany. Denmark, with our six million people - Not a chance.

[Edit: I'd start contacting people by email and see who responds and go from there]

However, I'm sure small stuff is expensive, and depending on what it is it might be worth consider having it made from actual metal (i.e. a simple bumper or something).

Chaps, thanks for your responses, they are very helpful. I will follow up the suggested dealers and see what they have to say.
Thanks
Tony

I know you have had lots of replies but have you considered...

Aqua Plating
Unit 13
Aqueduct Mill
Aqueduct Street
Preston
Lancashire
PR1 7JN
Telephone: 01772 884 801

From Southport you come in from the dock side. Go under the bridge to the traffic lights, turn right then second left to Aquaduct Street, the place is an old warehouse on the left with some big old gates.

A good friend of mine got many parts of his Triumph Bonneville chromed there and was delighted with the results.

Usual disclaimer... i'm not associated with the company in any way etc etc.

Have you considered anodizing?

Chaps thanks again for your suggestions, the company in Aqueduct Street Preston are easy to get to, I will call in and see what they have to say- always better to have a face and name if possible.
I will let you know the outcome of my experience.
All the best
Tony
