If you look over the page Vspec, you'll see that mine has polished stainless steel exhaust guards.

I believe that the default fitment is now satin finished stainless steel, and the black ones will be listed as an extra (at additional cost I guess).

I believe they are called heat shields and the wheel arches come black from the factory and I have yet to hear of someone who has ordered a vehicle with them changing that to body color or otherwise. I would assume its possible spend , but its not a standard option.

I agree it's the driving experience that matters... as long as mine feels like the one from the testdrive, I will be a happy bunny
Congratulations on your car Herman01, it looks great. I love the colour combo, and you've got me reconsidering the graphics all over again. Yours is the first I have seen which doesn't have black exhaust guards on the side (is there a name for them?). Is that something you specified? I notice that the mudguards are still black though

I think you would have to call it the "grey nurse" (shark).

Stunning !

Congratulations Herman01. I had time to go to this weekends "Open House" at the Classic & Sports Car Centre in Vetlanda (Sweden). The owner Lasse showed his great new facilities with showroom, spare parts, accessories, workshop and storage - I am very happy to live close to this new amusement park happy3

Herman01 (middle) receiving his new M3W congratulated by Mark from Morgan (left) and Lasse (right). I think the knitted hat was included i the deal and might be very handy when driving the M3W home next week... cold

in good company oldgit and with the Malvern Hills in the background.

Check out the extra electric socket to the right beneath the dash board.

The satin finish on the heat shields looks great.

Now the clearance issue between frame/cylinders is solved in a very nice way.

Lovely colour combination. I chose the same... :p

BTW, any news about steering wheels? This one looks like the one in the Geneva cars last year but all cars from vidos around seemed to have a Momo (which I didnt particularly like). So is there a steering wheel option or not?

Yes, maybe I should have taken that away in Photoshop not to ruin the M3W mood... I think it is pre 911...being a late 356 (or 1600) in a a lovely super restored condition (priced like a new M3W). I am not a "Porsche person" but seing a 356 does something to me love
